Parno Mittra is an Indian movie and TV actress. Parno is of Bengali origin. Mittra hails from Kolkata, West Bengal. She started her career with the movie ‘Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona. The film is directed by director Anjan Dutt. Anjan Dutt is a Bengali actor, singer and director. He has won a National award for this movie. The movie has won 3 National awards. Namely, for Best Music, Special Jury Award and Best feature Film in Bengali. It was a big hit and performance of all the actors was highly appreciated by the critics. Parno was born in Kolkata in the year 1989.

She is a pass-out of ‘Pratt Memorial School’ which is situated in Kolkata. She further did English honours from the University of Calcutta. From early childhood, Parno was interested in acting and participated in many theatre competition in school and college times. In the year 1998, she made her debut in films. In the beginning, she started her career as a television actress. She did many commercials and series. Her first movie in the Film Industry was ‘Raja Rani Badshah’. The movie was released in the year 1998. She worked in numerous Television serials.

She won a Star Guild Award for her performance in the film. She even received Zee Gaurav Award for the same. Her acting was greatly appreciated by many veteran actors and directors. She has worked with many great personalities in the Film Industry. She recently has done a movie titled ‘Bedroom’. It was released in the year 2012.
