Born on 24 January 1945 in Bengal, Pradeep Bhattacharya is an Indian Politician who had been a member of the Lok Sabha for two years. He had also been the President of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee for around three years. Completing his education at the University of Burdwan, Mr. Bhattacharya has a degree of Master in Arts. He is also a Social Worker and a writer with sensational writing. Being from the Indian National Congress, his thoughts are inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and he believes in the educational growth of India.

He is involved in many important policies and initiatives such as Vehicle scraping, The national Homeopathic Clinic, the Production of defense clothing in Avadi, Chennai, etc. During his tenure as the President of WBPCC, he has taken many initiatives for the growth of West Bengal, and he is continuing his efforts for India to achieve greater heights.
