Aditya Sengupta

Aditya Sengupta is an Indian Bengali director at Dhikchik. He was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Aditya Sengupta’s nationality is Indian. He went to ‘Assembly of God Church School’ to complete his school education. He took a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mass Communication from ‘St. Xaviers College,’ where he studied editing, cinematography, documentary filmmaking, scriptwriting, lighting, set design, and post-production. Aditya Sengupta is a film and theatre writer & director having experience in designing, shooting, creating, scripting, and editing. Also well familiar with presenting feature-length and short-length films, promotional videos, documentaries, advertisements, campaigns, creative videos, music videos, etc.

From Feb 2015 to Aug 2015, he worked as screenwriter and director at Channel 4 in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He worked as a Theatre professor, director, and writer at the State University of New York at Oswego (Sep 2015 – Jan 2016). He directed an original play, collaborated with the students and faculty members for dialogues, and was responsible for lights, sound, art design, production control, and staging.

Aditya Sengupta has been working as a playwright, theatre writer, and director.
