Sabarni Das is an Indian Costume designer. She works in the Bengali film industry. She is famous for The Reincarnate (2014), Gumnaami (2019), Mahalya (2019), 22 Shey Shraban (2011), Chaalchitro: The Frame Fatale (2024), Padatik (2024), Oti Uttam (2024), Mrs Undercover (2023).
The Reincarnate is a Biography; it talks about history and drama. It is a musical movie. It is about Anthony Firingee, a folk-poet of Bengal who originally was from Portugal in 19th century. The movie represents two time frames present day and 19th century.
Gumnaami focus on hearings of Mukherjee Commission during 1999-2005 in which Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s demise was talked in three theories.
Mrs Undercover is an action-thriller packed with comedy. It is about a special undercover agent who is back to the duty 10 years after remaining undercover to catch a psycho killer during this she has to maintain her life as a housewife.
