Emon Saha

Emon Saha is a Bangladeshi music producer, composer, record producer and singer. He plays many instruments, such as keyboard and guitar. He was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His mother was Ramala Saha, a Bangladeshi producer and playback singer who has been a part of quite a few movies. He is a producer, assistant director and editor. Emon Saha started his career in the year 2000. Most of his work is techno, fusion, folk and pop and film score. Emon Saha has worked with many music labels throughout his career. The music labels he works with are Sangeeta, Ektaar, Vision, Laser and Deadline music labels.

He is known for working in the music department of the movie Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na and as the composer for Dhoka, Jotil Prem and Apon Manush. He won the Bangladesh National Film Awards seven times for the best music composer and the best music director. Emon Saha started his training in Hindustani Classical Music under the teachings of Satindra Nath Halder. He also learned music from his father - three times Bangladesh National Film Awards winner Satya Saha.

He then received further training from A.R. Rahman’s K.M. Music Conservatory. Some of his award-winning work includes music composition and direction in movies like Chandragrohon, Kusum Kusum Prem, Pita, Jannat, Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe and Ghetuputra Komola. His most famous songs are De Dula De, Ontore Mor Agun Jole, Jibon Ei Jibon and many others. He has also released many albums, including Bondhok, Vondo Neta, Jomela Shundori, Dojjal Shashuri, Koti Takar Fokir and A Desh Kar.
