Emon Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi musician. He was born on the 19th of July 1990, and his full name is Mustafizur Rahman Chowdhury Emon. He spent his childhood in Narsingdi, a district in central Bangladesh. His father’s name is Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, and he was the principal of Nazrul Academy in Narsingdi. Emon Chowdhury plays fifteen instruments and is a music composer and record producer. He is known for his work in the band Chirkutt. He is the lead guitarist, and has been with the band for more than fourteen years. His most famous work includes being the music director in the film Maya: The Lost Mother, for which he won Bangladesh National Film Award.

But he shot to fame when he uploaded a video of a one-person band in which he was playing five different instruments at the same time - a guitar, a drum, ghungroo, a keyboard and a kazoo. There are very few one-person bands worldwide, and this was considered a big accomplishment. It took him a long time to acquire five instruments that he could play at the same time. He claims that the drums were the trickiest. He contacted a drummer, Nafiz Al Amin to make a special drum that Emon Chowdhury could use in a one-person band. He was interested in music from a very young age and started learning to play the guitar at a young age. He had many relatives who were involved in music and that was a spurce of motivation for him. But his true inspiration was M.A. Kader, who is a musical artist.
