Mrinmoy Mondal is a prominent Bengali cinematographer, well-known for his contributions to the film industry particularly in Bengali cinema. He was born in 1981 in Kolkata, West Bengal and grew up there. Mrinmoy went to school in Mahestala High School, studied painting and drawing at Government College of Art & Craft Kolkata in 2007, and then went on to study cinema at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata, enriching him with a strong foundation in film techniques and aesthetics.
Over the years he has been a part of multiple successful films and projects such as “Colours of Innocence” 2016, “Syndicate” 2021, “Datta” 2023, and “The Indrani Mukerjee Story: Buried Truth” 2024 to name a few.
