Santosh Sivan was born in Kerala. He is a cinematographer, director, actor, and producer known for his work in the Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi cinema industries. He is the first DOP (director of photography) in the Asia-Pacific region to be awarded the prestigious American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) membership. He received 11 national awards and more than 25 international awards and was honored with the prestigious PADMASHRI for his contribution to Indian cinema.
Ravi Varma is well-known for his realistic picturization and poetic framing sense. He started his career in Malayalam films, and he gradually established himself in both Tamil and Hindi language films. Ravi also worked as a filmmaker, producer, and writer. He started his DOP career in 1999 as an assisting cinematographer and has worked on 40 feature films. He has worked on more than 500 plus television commercials, short films, music albums, and documentaries.
P.C. Sreeram is so hot in the film industry that his name on the project is enough for stars to sign on. He made his cinematic debut in the early 1980s in the Tamil film industry. Sreeram is also the president of Qube Cinemas a digital cinema technology company. He got his first national award in 1987 for the Tamil movie Nayagan.
Sudeep Chatterjee is known for his work in several Bengali and Hindi cinema. He started his career as a cameraman at a news station, making documentaries and advertisements, but slowly found his way into Bollywood. He won 2 national awards for his outstanding films, Chotuskone (Bengali) and Bajiroa Mastani (Hindi).

There is no denying that M.J. Radhakrishnan is one of the best cinematographers of all time. He's at the top of his game and has been for the last 40 years. He worked on over 117 feature films, more than 30 short films, and several documentaries. The list concluded with the Golden Camera Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1999, the Golden Goblet award at the Shanghai International Film Festival, the best DOP at the Kazan International Film Festival, the Indian National Award, seven state film awards, and so on.
