Debesh Roy Chowdhury is an Indian actor who works in the Bengali industry. He has worked in various films and TV series. In 1996, he made his debut with the film Kahini. He worked in movies like Anu in 1998 and Protibad in 2001. In 2006, he played the role of a father in a short Gottliche Durga. The same year, Debesh appeared in the film Faltu. In 2009, he worked in various movies such as Kaler Rakhal, Maa Amar Maa, Angshumaner Chhobi, and Dujone.

Debesh played the role of Sasanka Sanyal in a thriller and adventurous film, Royal Bengal Rahasya, in 2011. In 2012, he portrayed the characters of Krishnakanta Mitra and Natu Kaka in the movies Challenge 2 and Tabe Tai Hok. In 2013, Debesh played the roles of Alankar's Father and Father of Main Goon in the films Chayamoy and Khoka 420. The same year, he worked in the movie Bakita Byaktigato. In 2014, Debesh appeared in Arundhati. He portrayed the character of Aghori Tantrik. Debesh worked in the films like Probahini (2016), Mission Narayanpur (2016), Biporjoy (2017), Tushagni (2019), Krishanu Krishanu (2019), Sundarboner Gobbo (2021), Mohor (2022), Shohorer Ushnotomo DinE (2023), and more. Debesh appeared in the film, A Tale of a Day & a Night, in 2018. He played the character of Arabindo (friend of Balai) in this movie.

In 2019, he was Kusumita's Father in Kusumitar Gappo. In 2020, Debesh portrayed the character of Aurobindo in Din Ratrir Golpo. Debesh appeared as Kali in the film, The Cloud and the Man, in 2021.
