Afzal Sharif is an actor who hails from Bangladesh. He was born in 1959. He kickstarted his career in theatre in 1984. Sharif’s debut in the film industry was made through Goutom Ghosh’s Padma Nadir Majhi. The movie earned the UNESCO Award and the Cannes Film Festival. In 2004, he acted in Montazur Rahman Akbar’s Bostir Rani Suriya. His other movies include Kistimaat, Musafir, Shera Nayok, Bajaw Biyer Bajna (2010) and Ononto Bhalobasa (1999). For his role in Nisshash Amar Tumi, Sharif earned the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor in Comic Role in 2010.
