Plot

Varun Dhawan, the hero of the film, is on the lookout for a conventional bride. Varun Dhawan hails from Jhansi while Alia Bhatt hails from Kota. The movie deals with the dynamic and liberated women of today and also has its share of cute romantic comedy.

Varun Dhawan is very straightforward but yet amiable. One may remember the Govinda of the 90s while seeing Dhawan in this film. A blend of innocuousness and conventional nature….that is what Varun Dhawan is in this film. She also doesn’t fall into a marriage where she has to give dowry. She is an independent girl who is highly ambitious and down-to-earth. She lives her dreams and her character is etched in such a way that it acts as a fodder to Alia’s acting skills. Now watch the movie to know these two people’s lives are taken forward.

Star Performances

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have a great onscreen presence and their chemistry is awesome. Dhawan effortlessly portrays a lovable character. Alia Bhatt gives a fabulous performance and her dedication is evident throughout the film. However, she could have worked on her accent quite a bit. Analysis

Director Shashank Khaitan kickstarted his directorial career with Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania and impressed the masses. Now again with Badrinath ki Dulhania he emerges a winner. The way in which Alia Bhatt’s character is etched is really good.

What’s there?

The move is incredibly entertaining, the comic elements work in favor of it.
The character of Alia Bhatt is carved in a fine manner.
The music just about manages to make impression. It could have been even better.
