Rituraj Singh is an Indian actor who mostly acts on TV shows. His hometown is Khatipura, Jaipur but he has settled in Mumbai, to where he shifted 24 years ago. He began his acting career when he joined Barry John's theatre group TAG (Theatre Action Group) where he worked for 11-12 years. He is closely acquainted with and worked alongside with the Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, who he met at the theatre. Rituraj Singh is currently acting in the TV show Diya Aur Baati Hum, in which he plays the role of a Kabaddi coach, Coach Mahendra Singh. The Jaipur actor claims that his passion for sports throughout his school and college days helped him play the role of a coach on the show a very easy task. The television shows he has worked in are Jyoti, Hitler Didi, Shapath, Warrior High, Aahat, Adaalat, Beintahaa, Kutumb, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, K. Street Pali Hill, Jersey No. 10, Horror Night, Ekk Nayi Pehchaan, Satrangi Sasural, Ssshh Phir Koi Hai and his current work Diya Aur Baati Hum. His roles in Satrangi Sasural and Ssshh Phir Koi Hai were episodic, and he only made guest appearances in them.

He has also acted in films. The three films he has acted in are In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones (1989), Miss Beatty's Children (1992) and Hum Tum Aur Ghost (2010). He has also acted in South-Indian serials like Puthu Puthu Arthangal and Alaipayuthey. During his acting years in the theatre group TAG, he acted in the Hindi play Tol Mol Ke Bol. Moreover, Rituraj Singh and Shahrukh Khan worked together in the film In Which Annie Gives It. His latest film assignment is a short film The Masterpiece, directed by Tanmay Singh, which got out in 2011, starring Preeti Jhangiani as the solo actress and in which he has given his voice as the filmmaker. It is the story of the life of a Bollywood actress who is trying to cope with life post-stardom.
