Harsha C M Gowda is an actor in the Sandalwood industry. He is most known for his role in the Kannada television drama, Brahmagantu. Harsha was born and raised in Channarayapatna in Karnataka to a family serving in the government. He developed a growing passion for performing during his days in college at Rajeev Institute of Paramedical Science. He came over to Bangalore to pursue a degree in acting from Srinidhi Institute.
His talent and dominant screen presence cast him in prominent roles with major Kannada production houses. His television debut was in the daily soap, ‘Amma Ninagagi’ in 2015. The widely watched show was his first step to success. His role as Datta on the ZEE TV Kannada’s drama, Brahmagantu, made him a popular household name in the region. His depiction of the character won him the award for the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ in 2018 from the Zee Kutumba Awards. His work and rising fame brought him to the commercial movie industry. He was cast in movies like ‘Mathukathe (2016)’ and ‘Production #2 (2020).’ He has also featured in several TV advertisement films for many brands and has also been a part of videos for music albums.
