Tamil Tv Serial Nambikkai

Nambikkai, a Tamil TV serial was telecasted on Sun TV under the productions of AVM. It was a long serial of 436 episodes. It is directed by Ganesh.R and M.Saravanan, M.Balasubramanian and M.S.Guhan are the producers.

Nambikkai was a story of a young girl who is hopeful and determined. Vasanth, a wealthy industrialist and businessman had a sister Aruna who was in love with Prem. Prem was from a poor family; his father was a mechanic in car shop. Aruna’s mother was not satisfied with their relationship and didn’t accept them. Vasanth played a role of supportive brother and tried to convince his mother for this relation. Father of Prem wanted his daughter to get married before Prem due to these issues. For the sake of sister’s love, Vasanth tied the knot of marriage with Prem’s sister Jayanthi and left his love Nandhini. As this marriage was a compromise, they were not happy. Nandhini was still in his heart. Nandhini was disappointed with Vasanth’s decision and was causing troubles in their married life for revenge. Although, Jayanthi was still hopeful that things would get better someday.

This story of love, betrayal and social issues was popular among people. It was aired on 02-07-2001 to 01-03-2003 on Sun TV.
