Season 2 started airing on 27 July 2020 and has 476 episodes. 

The story follows Mayan and Maaran, who are twin brothers who got separated right after their birth. Their mother left with Maaran. Raja Rathinam, Mayan’s father, takes him under his wing. Mayan is angry at his father because he marries Naachiyar. All this results in Mayan being raised by his uncle, Rathinavel, for over 25 years. Further, Mayan takes a romantic interest in his cousin, Mahalakshmi. She is Rathinavel’s daughter, a straightforward and blunt teacher. But Mahalakshmi dislikes Mayan even though Rathinavel fully supports them. 

Later on, Mahalakshmi gets engaged to Surya. Mayan attempts to sabotage their wedding, and he succeeds as Surya’s father is caught in a large gambling debt. Because of all this chaos, Rathinavel has a second heart attack.He refuses surgery despite his serious condition. Rathinavel’s doctor asks Mayan and Mahalakshmi to tend to him for a year. During this time, Mayan convinces Mahalakshmi to get together and that he will keep her happy.
