She has appeared in serials like Saravanan Meenatchi, Annakodiyum Aindhu Pengalum, Sumangali, Hello Shyamala, NaamIruvar Namakku Iruvar, and Nachiyarpuram. She acted in the movie Tenaliraman (2014) with Meenakshi Dixit, Vadivelu, and Jangiri Madhumitha.

Deepa’s husband, Nethran, had liver cancer and had been getting treatment. On 3rd December 2024, Nethran died at a private hospital.
