Mizhi Randilum resembles the storyline of 2003 popular Malayalam film ‘Mizhi Randilum'. The story revolves around how a Nurse falls in love with a Doctor who works with her. But their love faces many difficulties as the boy's father is a Muslim and Mother is a Hindu, while the family is ready to accept the girl as their daughter-in-law. Unfortunately, the girl's older brother hates the boy and thus refuses to accept their relationship just because the boy's father is Muslim.
The couple faces many challenges but fails to unite love. Thereby, heartbroken boy commits suicide leaving behind the girl in trauma where after a new man enters in girl's life who takes care of the girl, and thus lastly the duos get married.
