1. Pankhuri Awasthi
Pankhuri Awasthi is a young cute actress, who gave life to the legend Razia Sultana on television and she is known popularly by her character in the television series for her portrayal of the legend. The 24 year old actress was born in Lucknow but was brought up in the city of Delhi. She completed her schooling from Bluebells school in Delhi and obtained a degree in marketing from Delhi Hindu College.
She was working as a marketing executive in a Bangalore based company after completing her college. She got a chance to do an episode of the famous show ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ while she was still doing her job in Bangalore and it was through this show she got an attention. After the show ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’, she was part of the show ‘Fanaaha Season 2’ and she auditioned for ‘Razia Sultana’ later. She got through three to four rounds of auditioning and finally bagged the main role in the show.
She stated in an interview that the role of ‘Razia Sultana’ was a pleasant surprize for her and that she had put in a lot of effort to get through the auditions. She said that she went through history of the character and did thorough research and studies before portraying her during the audition.

Karan Sharma, not to be confused with the Indian film actor of the same name, is a Hindi television soap actor. Born on 6th March 1981, Karan had his shot at stardom, when he was selected during a workshop held by the National School of Drama.
