Born in the city of the Nawabs, Hyderabad Richa Mukherjee is one of the most promising newcomers in the industry. Born on 22nd July, Richa spent her formative years in the city of dreams, Mumbai. Starting from a young age, Richa had a knack for acting and she had her first break when she was barely 10 years old.

Richa’s career started with her role as young Kumkum in the daily soap ‘KumKum’. She proved herself as an excellent actress and there was no looking back. She never looked back from that day onwards, working extensively from 2006 till now. Her next big break came in the year 2006-07 when she took on the role of Vaisali in the show ‘ Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan’. She left her critics speechless and proved that she is not just a pretty face.

Richa is very versatile and that is evident from the roles she chooses. She also took part in the drama ‘ Mahabharat’ where she took on the part of Uttara and like she always does, proved how good she actually is. Last seen in ‘Punar Vivah-Ek Nayi Umeed’, Richa played the role of Munni on the show and showed her mettle even among veteran actors like Eijaz Khan and Karan Grover.
Apart from a plethora of daily soaps she has done a number of commercials for brands like Big Bazaar, Pepsi and Tata Sky. She has experience in movies as well, owing to her roles in movies like Paathshaala, Karzzzz and Dhamal with veteran actors like Nana Patekar and Shahid Kapoor. She is also known for her moving role in the Crime based show ‘Crime Patrol’.
