Ketan Karande is an Indian actor and national level body-builder. He was born and brought up in Mumbai. He is happily married to Parinita Karande and they both are having a girl child “”. He acted in many movies, TV serials and advertisements. He was passionate about theatre from his teenage days and in school he participated in several plays. He is having his own gym Ketan Muscle Fitness in Goregaon, West Mumbai. He appeared in several cameos in different movies like Race 2, , God Tussi Great Ho, Speed, Asoka, etc. Now he is acting as a lead villain against in the movie “”. It is directed by Prabhudeva with the star cast Ajay Devgan, and Yammi Gautam. It will be releasing in November 2014.

He also acted in many South Indian movies. He also worked with “” in the movie Ramaa-The Savior. It was a bollywood fantasy action adventure film produced by . Ketan got fame from the Marathi movie “Harishchandrachi Factory” in 2009. This movie was about the hardwork done by Dadasaheb Phalke in creating Raja Harishchandra in 1913 which was India's first feature film and the birth of Indian cinema. It was directed by . Besides this he also worked in TV serials. He made his debut in TV series through Star Plus show “Special Force” in 2012. He was one of the main leads in the show. In the same year he also did another show for Star Plus “”. He acted the role of Chotu in the show. He became Ghatotkach, son of Bheem and Hidimba in Star Plus serial “”. Recently he was seen in the Zee TV serial “” as Khaibar Zarra a warrior who kidnaped Jodha when she was pregnant. He also appeared in several advertisements.
