Karan Sharma, not to be confused with the Indian film actor of the same name, is a Hindi television soap actor. Born on 6th March 1981, Karan had his shot at stardom, when he was selected during a workshop held by the National School of Drama. He made his television debut in the serial Jyoti, which aired on NDTV Imagine. He then went on to play minor roles as the soft-spoken, visually-challenged Anirudh in Star Plus’s 'Baa, Bahu Aur Baby', and as Krishna Mahiyavanshi in NDTV Imagine’s Bandini.
He bagged one of the lead roles in Sony TV’s Pyar Ka Bandhan, where he played Sujoy Das a.k.a. Aziz. He also played Sunny Khandeshi on '

Karan is a friendly, down-to-earth person, who gets along well with his experienced co-actors. He loves being in front of the camera and really gets into the skin of his character. He’s believes that money isn’t everything and that how much one spends is more important than how much they earn. Karan is single and believes that marriage is a strong and lasting means of knowing and understanding one’s partner. Rumour has it that Karan might very soon be making an entry into Bollywood as part of a sequel to 'Tezaab'.
