The other supporting roles were also played by well known actors like Tanaaz Currim, Tom Alter, Vijayendra Ghatge , Renuka Israni, Hussain among others. The serial marked the debut of Rati Agnihotri on the small screen. Her fine acting skills, which once made her the darling of the cinema goers, were on show once again, as she portrayed the role of a woman out to avenge herself for the wrongs done to her. The story revolves round the lead female character, Vandana who is charged falsely for the murder of her husband, Dr. Sameer and comes out of the prison after serving seven years' punishment. As she desperately wants to catch hold of the real culprit, she decides to stay in the same house where her husband was killed to present herself as a bait for the killer. Neera Mehdi, an enterprising TV reporter wants to get to the bottom of the things and forces Vandana to recast her past when she discovers that her husband was having an affair with a nurse and she walks out on him. In the process, Neera stirs a hornet's nest and many people come to the net including the partners of late husband of Vandana, Dr. Praful, Dr. Kalandri and Dr. Peter Martis. The story progresses and ultimately, the real culprit is caught and put behind the bars. Vandana's revenge is complete and the story comes to an end.
