‘Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka’ is a story of a girl Janvi Aggarwal, who is an intelligent, mature and simple girl born in Lucknow. She wants to study higher, but her parent fix her marriage with Parth. Janvi’s In-laws are very so greedy and want lots of dowry in the marriage, and they manage to get it too as Janvi’s father wants to give her everything which comforts her, But after getting a huge dowry amount in the wedding her In-laws want more and then after marriage Janvi’s real struggle begins. Janvi’s In-Laws demand her father to arrange her father 2.5 million rupees as Parth was in prison. Trilok, who is Janvi’s father, wants to sell his house, but Janvi’s aunt refuses, thinking about his daughter’s problem Trilok starts suffering from asthma attacks.

On the other hand, Janvi’s in-laws start torturing Janvi for money, they lock her in a storeroom and torture her by giving her more work, Trilok after knowing this torture being done on Janvi by her in-laws and daily quarrels of Sobhna dies but the money greedy Gupta family doesn’t tell Janvi about the demise of Trilok, Janvi goes to a temple where she sees her family with her father’s corpse. By seeing her father dead, she breaks completely. Soon a secret is revealed by her In-laws that another daughter- in- law was killed by them for dowry.

Soon Janvi realizes that she was tortured because of the dowry, and she punishes her In-laws. Despite the serious subject, the show was not that hit amongst the audience and couldn’t be in the make a long run.
