Vaishnavi Dhanraj received a great applause for the role of Jhanvi in the most popular TV show Na Aana Is Desh Laado, which was aired on Colors channel. This beautiful and tall actress was born on 25th August 1988 in Nagpur. She studied in Blind Relief Association's Mundle High School and graduated from Shivaji Science College. She has also been a celebrity blog writer for “The Times of India”.

Her career as a TV actress started in 2008 when she did a cameo in Ekta Kapoor's famous daily serial, “Kasautii Zindagi Kay” and did a lead role in Ekta Kapoor's Karam Apna Apna. But at that time she was known as Vaishnavi Bhoyar. Later on, due to numerological reasons she adopted her father's first name as her surname and changed her name to Vaishnavi Dhanraj. In 2009, she joined Sony TV's show “” as sub-inspector Tasha. While working in CID she insisted on doing all her stunts by herself. Then in 2010 when Na Aana Is Des Laado took a leap of 18 years, she got parallel lead role of Jahnvi (granddaughter of Amma ji). In 2011, she got nominated as the most Jaanbaaz personality for the “Colors Golden Petal Award”. After wrapping up of Na Aana Is Des Laado Vaishnavi Dhanraj rejoined CID in 2012.

In 2013, she acted in Sony TV show Paravarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. In this show, she played as a businesswoman named Meera Mathur. She also portrayed a self-obsessed character of Riya Jaiswal in Colors’ show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. She appeared as a contestant in a reality show titled ‘Kitchen Champion 4’ and did a dance cameo for ‘India's Got Talent’. She also did episodic appearances in Crime Patrol and Hum Ne Li Hai-Shapath. In epic serial Mahabharata of Star Plus, she was seen as demoness Hidimbaa. According to Vaishnavi, her most challenging role till now is that of Nirbhaya in Satyagraha. Satyagraha is a social awareness program on Aaj Tak news channel. As far as her personal life is concerned, she got married to TV actor Nitin Saharawat on 23 December 2012. They dated for a year before getting married. Vaishnavi met Nitin for the first time on the sets of Kitni Mohabbat Hai season 2. Their wedding is considered to be one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year 2012. Wedding ceremonies took place in Shantikunj, Hardwar. After their wedding, the couple has even appeared together in a show of NDTV profit.

Vaishnavi Dhanraj's upcoming project is Begu Sarai of Saregamapa production for Zee TV. This show is based on the backdrop of Bihar and Vaishnavi is doing parallel lead in the show.
