Her much talked about stint was with the series ‘Grahasti’, which was aired on the Star Plus. The serial got a far & wide attention of the viewers all over as it completed more than two hundred & eighty episodes on the channel. The series was based on a woman centric theme, in which Vaidehi played the role of ‘Amrit Khurana’, who is a widow mother of the female protagonists of the serial called as ‘Simar’ (played by Khhushbu) and Soni (played by Hunar Ali). ‘Basera’ was a serial which discussed the problems faced by older people when they are ill treated by their family members. She was seen doing mythological serials such as ‘Vishnupuran’ which completed more than hundred episodes and was appreciated a lot. Vaidehi took a break from the television before she was offered ‘Grahasti’, due to health reasons. She is still firm regarding the selection of assignments, keeping in view her own comfort level. She is busy assisting her husband, who runs a production house of his own. She is lives and works in Mumbai.
