Swapna Waghmare Joshi was born on 16 July 1966, in Vadodara, Gujarat. She belongs to an exceptionally respectable and honorable family. Nowadays she fills in as an executive and maker in Indian Television and Movie Industry. Sometimes she works as an actress too, when the role suits the performer inside her.

There is an extensive list of TV series, she directed, some of them are, Teen Bahuraaniyaan (March 26, 2007 – January 9, 2009), aired on Zee TV, and ‘ Kalash’ (2001 – 2003), aired on Star Plus. Swapna worked as a creative producer in the TV serial Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki (14 January 2013 – 30 April 2014) aired on Colors TV, on this TV series she also played the role of Urmali Patel, who is the grandmother of the female lead actress, Bhoomi.

Sushmita Mukherjee is a prominent film and television actress. She was born in Kolkata, India. She made her schooling at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. Sushmita was married to Sudhir Mishra, a film director and screenwriter. But they got divorced and she re-marries Raja Bundela, an actor, producer and a politician who belongs to the Bundela Rajput Royal Family. The couple has two kids. Sushmita appeared in character and comedic roles; she also did grey shaded characters.
