Nickelodeon GUTS is an American TV show which originally aired on Nickelodeon from 1992 to 1995. Nickelodeon GUTS was a game show where three children competed against each other in a series of extreme versions of common sports. They were assigned the colors red, blue and purple. Each episode was about half an hour long. The safety of the participating children was ensured through the use of elastic bands and other measures. There were five rounds and the players were ranked in first, second, or third positions. The player who came first got three hundred points. The second place got two hundred points and the third-place got one hundred points. There were more detailed rules in case of ties. The child with the highest points after the final round would win a gold medal along with other gifts. American writer and actor, Mike O'Malley was the host and English actress Moira Quirk was the referee in this entertaining show.
