The season 4 of the Modern Family continues to keep the viewer engaged with their non-stop comedy and ability to leave the spectators with a sense of surprise and suspense, as it moves from one episode to next. The show has been called by many a model for sitcom genre and we are seeing why. Â
The story starts with birthday celebration of Jay (Ed O'Neill) in a unique way, by kidnapping him to a surprise. In the meanime, Gloria (Jay’s wife) is struggling to break the news that she is pregnant. Many things happen side by side-Cameron ( Eric Stonestreet One who believes in “The most important thing for >> Read More... ) opts for a new job of a music teacher whereas Luke ( Nolan Gould Nolan Gould is an exceptional American actor with >> Read More... ) and Manny ( Rico Rodriguez Rico Rodriguez is an American personality who is p >> Read More... ) are starting to school. The most remarkable thing about the show which it keeps maintaining is its ability to invoke comedy in most non-comical situations.
The struggle of the people to get on with their lives and how people deal with each phase of their lives and the troubles along with it is served in partly serious and comical punches. Claire’s character is getting more interesting as we go- she is becoming more and more control freak, always upset with smooth running of her household and is bossy with other people around her. The dialogues are very punchy and force the viewer to see a scene again and again. To keep the show interesting for the next season, it ends with some strange twists. Gloria is facing court because of an arrest warrant charged against her for running a brothel, and to represent her she brings Mitchell. Phil’s mother passes away and everyone is flying for Florida to attend the ceremony where Phil is stuck with fulfilling her mother’s last wish.
Modern Family is American ABC (short for American Broadcasting Company) entertainment show of sitcom genre, its fourth season being telecast from 26, 2012 and ended on May 22, 2013. The season has 24 episodes. The show received some mixed reviews; some critics said that there is is not much difference with previous seasons as per the nature of stories and their deliverances; some othres called it as the best appreciated comedy. I guess, one has to watch it to know it.
