Son Of Savitramma is a Kannada television serial aired in Star Suvarna. Son of Savitramma is the dubbed version of the Telegu serial Savitramma gari Abbayi. The story revolves around Balaraju, a young, attractive wrestler who is also the village's most eligible bachelor. Although he can easily make women weak in the knees and can brag of a sizable female fan base, he is constrained by his promise to his mother. His mother wants him to concentrate more on wrestling and win international competitions. So, she thinks falling in love would distract him from his aim. However, he meets a beautiful and free-spirited girl and falls for her. The story deals with how he convinces his mother and also how he fights for both his dream and love life.
