Ssshhhh Phir Koi Hai is an Indian horror anthology television series produced by Cinevistaas Limited for Star Plus. The show is purely based on fictional events and stories. The show resembles heavy inspirations and concepts from the American hit movie Ghostbusters. The show commences on the note of Mayakaal returning, who happens to be the most powerful wizard in the world. Mayakaal held Vikraal in captivity. Guru Satyacharya realized that Vikraal was unable to handle the circumstances by himself. So Guru Satyacharya summoned Mitunjay’s daughter, Bijli, along with Captain Kishan in order to help Vikraal. The three of them came together and were successful in defeating Mayakaal. From thereon, their mission became to become Ghostbusters and eviscerate all the evil spirits from the world. Since they were three of them as a team, they were together called Trikaal.

Trikaal was ever ready to fight against all the evil forces and spirits in the world. After defeating the evil spirits, they kept them in bottles. They also have an office, which is called Trikaal’s office. This is inspired by the concept of Ghostbusters. Since the show attained a noteworthy amount of fame, the channel decided to make a sequel to the popular show.

In December 2007, the regular show returned with a biweekly format, airing on Friday and Saturday nights. Each story arc was split into two parts across the two episodes. Mohan was the son of a Village Head in Kishangarh who had been overseas for studies. Upon returning, he encounters Ambika, who is a witch. When Mohan goes back home, he reconnects with Radhika, his sweetheart. It turns out Ambika was hired by Mohan's father's rival Dashrath Singh, who wanted to seize all his enemy's property. Ambika plays games to turn Mohan and Radhika against each other. She murders the fathers of both Mohan and Radhika, framing the two young lovers for their deaths. Mohan believes Radhika killed his dad; likewise, Radhika believes Mohan killed her father. Deceitfully, Ambika grabs all of Mohan's inheritance and awards it to her ally Dashrath. Though initially using Mohan for her ends, Ambika starts developing real feelings for him. Mohan's mother pressures him to marry Ambika.

Around this time, Radhika uncovers the truth about Ambika's lies. She informs Mohan about Ambika's true nature. Feeling threatened, Ambika kills Radhika after making her believe Mohan was her murderer. Radhika's death led to the suicide of Mohan. In a rebirth storyline, Mohan is reincarnated as Madhav and Radhika is reborn as Meera. Ambika only bothers to change her name, from Ambika to Kalika. Madhav is an engineer who has arrived in Kishangarh to construct a dam. He experiences flashbacks to memories of his past life. Madhav crosses paths with Kalika, and she narrates a distorted version of the previous events with Mohan, Radhika, and her former self Ambika. She tries to deceive Madhav into thinking Radhika is the wicked one, but his faded recollections allow him to doubt her tale. Meera is the daughter of Durgadevi. She routinely gets possessed by Radhika's spirit and blacks out. Initially, neither Madhav nor Meera realize they are the reborn versions of Mohan and Radhika. Eventually, they both uncover the truth of their prior lives, but Meera only learns the false narrative that Mohan murdered her in the past. When she meets Madhav, she tries to kill him but is unable to do it. Madhav then conveys to her the full true story. The reunited soulmates - Madhav (Mohan) and Meera (Radhika) - finally defeat Ambika/Kalika. At last, Madhav and Meera get married.
