Menaka Lalwani

Maneka Lalwani is a well-known TV serial actress. She was born on November 3, 1989. She hails from Baroda, Gujarat, which is now known as Vadodara. She has done B.Sc in Home Science and after that did a Post Graduate programme in Advertising and Public Relations. As per her confession, she did the Post Graduation in Advertising simply to occupy gaps that she used to have from her regular studies. She is a professional model and has received training in Indian classical dance forms Bharatanatyam and Kathak. She has also participated in many beauty pageants. She also participated in many prestigious commercial campaigns like Top in Town raincoats, Parag Sarees, Planet Digit, etc. 

She has acted in many TV serials. Some of the better-known serials are Baa, Bahu Aur Baby where she served as Rimjhim Talwar, in Saraswati Chandra as Aarti, Akkad Bakkad Bambe Bo, Pavitra Rishta, Emotional Atyachar in Bindas channel and Love By Chance. She also had small roles in Shshsh... Koi Hai and Kahin Kissi Roz with Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. 

Apart from these TV serials, Maneka has also acted in movies. She played the lead female in Miss Lovely in 2013. At present, she is doing female lead in Arijit Lahiri’s Science fiction movie, Out of Time.

Menka Lalwani, born on November 3, 1989, is a model, beauty pageant contestant and trained classical dancer. She has worked in movies as well as in Hindi TV shows. She made her first appearance in the national award winning film ‘Miss Lovely’, released in Cannes in 2012 and India on January 17, 2014. In the movie, Menka was seen in a supporting role as Nadia. The movie explores the ugly side of Mumbai’s C-grade industry of horror and porn films. Following the success of the movie ‘Miss Lovely’, Menka Lalwani was approached by producer Vaibhav Bhatnagar and was signed for his next movie ‘Out of the Time’.

Miss Lovely was a C-grade film directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. Maneka played the role of Nadia, but this movie went through a lot of controversies.

Born in Baroda, Maneka studied advertising and public relations. She banged her first role in Akkad Bakkad Bambey Bo, which was released on Star Plus channel and then, later on, Disney Channel India. She was in a small role in the serial Shararat with actors like Farida Jalal, Karanvir Bohra, Shruti Seth.
