Kamya Panjabi is a popular Indian actress. She mostly played negative roles in Hindi TV serials. She is also popular for her Standup Comedy. She was born in Mumbai, on 13 August 1979. Her maternal life has some ups and downs. She got married to Bunty Negi and has a daughter. But unfortunately, the couple may not develop a good understanding and file a divorce.

She has performed in many TV serials such as, Pya ka Ghar in which she essayed the role of Simren. This serial is about the affairs and problems that a girl has to face after marriage. Other than this she has performed in Bano Main Teri Dulhan, Reth, and Nagan-Wadon ki AgniPrekshaa, which are premiered on Zee.TV.

Banoo Main Teri Dulhan is a story about a girl from a little town. She got married to Sagar and reached Delhi. Kamya has performed the role of Sindoora who is the wife of Aniket. Aniket has killed vidhya and her husband. Reth in which Kamya has essayed the role of Netra, is about a girl who is gang-raped. Then she struggles to get back her honor and respect. Netra is a typical woman who causes problems for Jia who was raped.

Other than this she has performed in ‘Kehta Hai Dil’ as Karishma Singh and in ‘Maryada-Lakin Kab Tak’ as Uttara. These both serials were aired on Star Plus. She also has essayed the role of Kamya Parashar in ‘Wo Rehany Wali Mahillon Ki’ that was aired on Sahara One. In short, she has performed in many TV serials. She also took a part in reality shows like Big Boss.

In other words it can be said that she is a versatile actress. She has won ‘Indian Telly Award’ for best actress in negative role in ‘Banoo Main Teri Dulhan.’ She also has won the ‘Loin’s Gold Award’ as ‘Appreciation award’ for Big Boss; a reality show.

Kamya Punjabi is a television actress known for her brilliant performances in negative roles. She has also shown her versatility in stand-up comedy. Kamya was born on 13 August, 1979, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Belonging to a middle - class family, she has now made a name for herself in the industry. She was also a part of Bigg Boss 7 and was a very prominent contestant in the show. She was married to Bunty Negi, and have a daughter named Aara. Due to some misunderstandings, the couple had filed a divorce right before Kamya was going to be a part of Bigg Boss. After their divorce, she lost custody of her little daughter to Bunty.

Later, rumor has it that Kamya, and television actor Karan Patel, were having an affair but their relationship didn’t last long. She made her acting debut in 2002, with her first television series, “Kehta Hai Dil” on Star Plus.
