Niki Aneja Walia is a popular name in Indian household as she still holds a place in the hearts of Indian middle class women for her stupendous acting as Dr Simran for the popular TV serial Astitva-Ek Prem Kahani. This popular TV serial was aired on ZEE TV during 2002 to 2006. In the year 2005-2006, Niki Aneja Walia won the TV & Producers Guild best actress award for this role. Nandita Puri is an Indian actress and a choreographer who appeared as Shyama Solanki in the Hindi series, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment Television India. She was also part of the serial, Chamatkar on Sony TV which stars Farookh Sheikh. Nandita was debuted in the television serial, Campus. But acting was never her passion at first. She is a classical dancer based in Mumbai and Kathak is her first and only love. It’s her dance that brings Nandita to the acting industry.
She got many opportunities to perform Kathak and that’s the time she was approached by the Upnayaas director, Vinay Dhumale and asked her if she can choreograph a Mujra dance. Afterwards, she got an offer to do a role in Upanyaas on DD1 channel. After this, she distanced herself in the industry because she started being a typecast, until she got the opportunity to perform in the serial, Campus and essayed the role of Kiran Joshi. One of her Kathak gurus told her to audition for the serial and she was luckily selected. Since then, she got many offers to do television serials like Aashirwad on Zee TV in year 1998. Nandita was also seen on Zee TV’s Sarhadein. In year 2000, she was seen in the drama series, Milan on Sony TV which stars Rohit Roy and Nattasha Singh. In 2001, she acted in Ekta Kapoor’s soap opera, Kalash in STAR Plus. Nandita was also part of the Hindi serial, Sanjivani – A Medical Boon on STAR Plus. In 2007, she was popularly known as Mohini Malhorta in Maayka – Saath Zindagi Bhar Ka on Zee TV.
Aside from working in the small screen, Nandita also tried her luck working in the big screen. She played as the mother of Priyanshu in the film, Mumkin which stars Bipasha Basu and John Abraham.
Nandita is a Psychology graduate and started her dance training when she was 17 years old from her Guru, Shankar Dev Jha. She won many awards for her performances in India and abroad. She received the Government of India Scholarship in year 1982 to 1983. After working in many television shows and films, Nandita has enough money to pursue her career as a choreographer; she has proven herself in the 1996 Hindi film, Sardari Begum by Shyam Benegal. She choreographed a Kathak piece in the film. She is also doing Ballet dance which will define Thumris in classical dance. She choreographed a poetic version of Thumris. Nandita was also the director of the audio-visual clip on Bade Ghulam Ali Khan’s (a Hindustani classical vocalist) life. Her mother, Primila Puri who is also a vocalist from the Patiala Gharana assisted her and Nandita got Bade Ghulam’s grandsons. Nandita danced to Bade Ghulam’s compositions while his grandsons speak about the inspirations following his bandishes such as Kya Karoon Sajni Aaye Naa Balam. The show was a hit in Mumbai and she also plans to bring it on Punjab and Patiala.
She also choreographed ballet dance like Shan-E-Moghul-Darbar/Agra and for the television serial, Ramayan on Zee TV and in some music albums and commercials. She was also sent in different countries to perform her dance.

Purnima Joshi is a Hindi TV actor, whose work is tremendous in the television industry. She's been a part of TV serials, and due to that, she received a lot of fame. After an arrangement of offers from India Suzanne Bernert chose to move to India to seek after her fantasy and turn into a performer (2005). Suzanne calls India as her new home; she likes Indian people and their culture. She said in an interview, "I was conceived German, yet Indian is what I am from within. I don't know why, but I always fancy India and I am planning on staying here in India.”

Pallavi also received the Excellence in Cinema Award at the 7th Global Film Festival Noida. In the same year, she bagged the main character as Shantha in the 1994 critically acclaimed Malayalam movie, Illayum Mullum by KP Sasi. She is also part of the Indian-South African film, The Making of Mahatma in 1996 under the direction of Shyam Benegal. From year 1999 to 2001, she appeared in many episodes of Zee TV’s Rishtey. Neena Cheema is a highly experienced and well known TV actress. In a vast acting career, she has done a number of plays, TV serials and movies in both Hindi and Punjabi language. While most of her initial career was dedicated to doing stage plays, the latter half of her career has seen her take up both serials as well as films.
She starred in multiple Hindi television films and plays such as Wapasi and Aaghosh among others. Neena was part of the extremely popular comedy TV show known as Flop Show, which aired on India’s national TV channel Doordarshan in the 90s. She was also seen in a couple of Punjabi serials which were telecasted on Jalandhar Doordarshan namely Parchhaven and Lafafi. Deepa Parab hails from Mumbai and she was interested in acting since her childhood. She was already active in Marathi theatre when she was studying in Maharishi Dayanand College in Parel, Mumbai. Afterwards, he decided to move to Mumbai in the early 90’s. He met Mangesh Kulkarn, a Marathi actor, writer and poet and told him that the casting for Nagmandala. He feels so lucky since Vijaya Bai is a big production house and he got the chance to be part of it, and worked with the people with huge experiences in the Marathi stage. He found himself working in a big workshop for acting at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). After the Nagmandala, he works consistently in the Marathi commercial theatre.
Sometime in year 1996 or 1997, Nagesh has stopped on performing in the Marathi commercial theatre. He was offered to do the role of Kishan Murari on Zee TV’s Hasratein. Later, he started to appear in many tele-serials like the C.I.D., Bhavar and more. His very first appearance in serial is from Doordarshan channel entitled, Upanyas together with Shekhar Kapoor. That time, Doordarshan is the only channel available and he was new to the television world.
He was debuted as a film actor through the Marathi film, Bangarwadi where he essayed the role of Daddu Baltya under the direction of Amol Palekar. The film became one of the best films in year 1997. Kishore did the English version and he did the Hindi version. They did a play entitled, Angst Angst Coontah Coontah Bhoom Bhaam Dhandhal Dhamaal Kaput. Nagesh received the Best Actor Award from the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META) committee for Ramu’s Cotton 56, Polyester 84 and he considered it as a milestone in his career.
Besides acting, producing and directing, he is also a good singer. But he says, he was not a trained singer but he is just naturally inclined to music.
