Harshada Khanvilkar

Harshada is a hot Marathi Actress, who has had a successful career graph. She has predominantly acted in various Television soaps and several theatre dramas. Khanvilkar’s stint in the Television field started early in the year 1998, through a soap titled Dard, that was aired on Doordarshan. She did a small, but significant role in that series. The crew of Dard serial saw her photo that was featured on Woman's Era Magazine and approached Harshada for the role.

Harshada was then approached for many short roles for serials, from production houses. After appearing for a few minutes to a few episodes in various serials, she climbed the ladder to play an important and big role in a serial.

Abhalmaya, a serial happened that boosted her career graph to the peak. She played the role of Sushma in the soap and through that she became a household name. Abhalmaya was about the difficulties faced by a working mother to raise her three daughters. After this serial’s success, Abhalmaya 2 was directed which was, unfortunately, a flop. The popularity she gained through that serial made many production houses to approach her for their ventures.

She has also acted in a few famous Hindi soaps such as Astitva Ek Prem Kahani in which, she acted as the housekeeper of the protagonist. Harshada grew up in Cotton Greens, in Mumbai, in a big family. She did her schooling at Dadar and got her degree from Kirti College in Mumbai. Cinema and Television are nothing without gossips.
