Tina Parekh is a popular, talented and young Indian actress who is mostly seen acting in Hindi television serials. Tina Parekh is a Gujarati girl, but is brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan and Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Tina Parekh completed her graduation in Psychology from the Mithibai College in Mumbai. Initially Tina didn’t thought of taking up acting as her profession and gave few auditions reluctantly just because her friends were also auditioning. And she was also quiet apprehensive about acting due to her short height and shy nature. Tina Parekh started out with featuring in ad commercials of some reputed brands like ICICI Bank, Rasna, Air India, Fairglow, Lux, Airtel, Honda, Emirates, etc. Tina Parekh has also acted in a Marathi movie titled Satya Bol. Tina Parekh became a household name and came into the limelight with Balaji Telefilms popular serial Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, where she played the role of the daughter of the lead pair of the show Om and Parvati Agarwal. Tina then went on to appear in another Balaji hit cult serial Kasauti Zindagi Ki – an eternal story of love and relation in the role of the lead character Prerna’s adopted daughter and the love interest of Prerna’s own biological son Prem. Tina Parekh also starred in Hindi television serials like- Sonpari, Kehta hai dil, Hip Hip Hurray, Khichdi, , Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar, etc. Tina also featured in the Hindi movie version of Khichdi. Tina was nominated and awarded many time times in the Star Parivaar awards show and Indian telly awards. Tina Parekh got married to musician Vikram Hazra on February 9, 2007 in Bangalore, India.
