Nandita Puri is an Indian actress and a choreographer who appeared as Shyama Solanki in the Hindi series, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment Television India. She was also part of the serial, Chamatkar on Sony TV which stars Farookh Sheikh.
 
Nandita was debuted in the television serial, Campus. But acting was never her passion at first. She is a classical dancer based in Mumbai and Kathak is her first and only love. It’s her dance that brings Nandita to the acting industry. She got many opportunities to perform Kathak and that’s the time she was approached by the Upnayaas director, Vinay Dhumale and asked her if she can choreograph a Mujra dance. Afterwards, she got an offer to do a role in Upanyaas on DD1 channel. After this, she distanced herself in the industry because she started being a typecast, until she got the opportunity to perform in the serial, Campus and essayed the role of Kiran Joshi. One of her Kathak gurus told her to audition for the serial and she was luckily selected. Since then, she got many offers to do television serials like Aashirwad on Zee TV in year 1998. Nandita was also seen on Zee TV’s Sarhadein. In year 2000, she was seen in the drama series, Milan on Sony TV which stars Rohit Roy and Nattasha Singh. In 2001, she acted in Ekta Kapoor’s soap opera, Kalash in STAR Plus. Nandita was also part of the Hindi serial, Sanjivani – A Medical Boon on STAR Plus. In 2007, she was popularly known as Mohini Malhorta in Maayka – Saath Zindagi Bhar Ka on Zee TV.

Aside from working in the small screen, Nandita also tried her luck working in the big screen. She played as the mother of Priyanshu in the film, Mumkin which stars Bipasha Basu and John Abraham.
Nandita is a Psychology graduate and started her dance training when she was 17 years old from her Guru, Shankar Dev Jha. She won many awards for her performances in India and abroad. She received the Government of India Scholarship in year 1982 to 1983. After working in many television shows and films, Nandita has enough money to pursue her career as a choreographer; she has proven herself in the 1996 Hindi film, Sardari Begum by Shyam Benegal. She choreographed a Kathak piece in the film. She is also doing Ballet dance which will define Thumris in classical dance. She choreographed a poetic version of Thumris. Nandita was also the director of the audio-visual clip on Bade Ghulam Ali Khan’s (a Hindustani classical vocalist) life. Her mother, Primila Puri who is also a vocalist from the Patiala Gharana assisted her and Nandita got Bade Ghulam’s grandsons. Nandita danced to Bade Ghulam’s compositions while his grandsons speak about the inspirations following his bandishes such as Kya Karoon Sajni Aaye Naa Balam. The show was a hit in Mumbai and she also plans to bring it on Punjab and Patiala.
 
She also choreographed ballet dance like Shan-E-Moghul-Darbar/Agra and for the television serial, Ramayan on Zee TV and in some music albums and commercials. She was also sent in different countries to perform her dance.

A dancer extraordinaire, a respected choreographer, God of Contemporary dance, these are some of the names given to Terence Lewis. Terence was born into the family of Xavier and Teresa Lewis and was the youngest of their eight children. He was brought up as a Catholic and did his schooling from St. Theresa High School before joining the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and The Martha Graham Centre for Contemporary Dance in New York where he was trained extensively in Jazz, Ballet and contemporary dancing. It goes without saying that he turned out to be an extraordinary dancer and soon started his career as a choreographer.Terence has been a part of many Bollywood movies and apart from that he has also staged various musicals, advertisements, stage shows and of course music videos. He is one of the most sought after choreographers of our times and rightly so.Terence has choreographed in movies like Lagaan, which got nominated for the Oscars. Moreover he has also choreographed in movies like Jhankar Beats and Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela among many of his other movies. He was also a part of Dance India Dance, where he was a judge cum mentor and was overseen by the great Mithun Chakraborty who was the Grand Master of the show. He was recently seen judging the celebrity couple dance show Nach Baliye Shriman vs Shrimati alongside actress and Big Boss(UK) winner Shilpa Shetty as well as another well known choreographer, Farah Khan. Terence also has a very adventurous side to himself which made him take part in the Indian version of Fear factor, Khatron Ke Khiladi.‘Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company’ is Terence’s brainchild, fully run by him churning out talented dancers. Terence’s exploits are not only in India but are spread worldwide. He has won the American Choreography Award for Lagaan in 2002 with other choreographers including the likes of Choreography Queen, Saroj Khan. Moreover he is the first Indian to have won the dance Web Europe Scholarship in Vienna, Austria representing India.

Abhash Mukherjee

Abhash Mukherjee is a dancer and choreographer, who born on 16 August, 1994, with the star sign, Scorpio. He was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Abhash is fond of dancing and from a very tiny age- at the age of five- he used to learn dancing. He is a very good dancer and trained in many dance forms. Abhash took part in school dance competitions too. He is trained in one too many dance forms. Abhash admits that he gets nervous on stage before his performances. Abhash said his parents and the whole family are very supportive, and they always have a positive face over dancing, while encouraging Abhash to give his best performance each time. He always has a positive approach towards life, as he says life is what you make out of it. Abhash started his professional dancing career by giving an audition in Kolkata, West Bengal, for the dance show Dance India Dance, which released in January 30th, 2009, on Zee TV. This show gave a boon to his career. This dance show won the Indian Telly Award for Best Dance Talent Show.  After this, he participated in another dance show, Just Dance, which released on 18th June, 2011. Abhash was the finalist on this show, but sadly could not win that. This show was broadcasted on Star Plus and won the Star Parivaar Best Mazebaan Award. Hrithik Roshan and Michael Jackson are Abhash’s dancing idols. He is so good in dancing that the international dance trainer, Michelle Johnston, said Abhash will definitely be part of her dancing show whenever she starts. Abhash also worked in Boogie Woogie, another Indian dancing show. This is India’s first dancing show, which broadcasts on Sony TV. He is also a choreographer of a unit called Chrome picture. Abhash will also choreograph a dance show, hopefully releasing next year.
