Plot
Satakarni, the prince of Gautamiputra, is very much affectionate towards his mother. During his childhood, when he asks for his father, who is on the battlefield, his mother replies him that his dad has gone to bring victory to his country by defeating other emperors. As Satakarni is pampered by his mother, people think that he is unfit to be a warrior. But, Satakarni tells his mom that he will make a big empire by conquering all the nearby regions and this has become the lifetime ambition for him. How did Satakarni achieve success? The answer to the question forms the rest of the story.
Star Performances
The performances of Balakrishna, Hema Malini and Shriya are excellent. Everyone has done their part pretty well. Balayya’s dialogue delivery is outstanding.
Analysis
Director Krish has chosen a good story plot and had scripted it well. It is really exciting to know how the director completes a historical movie within a short span. Krish's effort is appreciable.

This is a complete movie for Nandamuri fans. Whether it is Balayya’s entry or his dialogue delivery, the fans are sure to give a standing ovation. On the whole, Gautamiputra Satakarni is worth watching.
