Krish a.k.a. Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi is a famous director in the Telugu film industry. Recently, he directed the movie “ Gabbar Is Back”, which had Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. In this process, Vedam became only the second movie to win all four major awards i.e. Best Movie Award, Best Director Award, Best Actor Award and Best Actress Award. His next film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum hit the theaters in 2012. The movie had Rana Daggubati and Nayanthara in the lead roles. As predicted by the movie pundits, the movie did a great business and was well received by both the audience and the critics.

Next up, he got his Bollywood calling as he was summoned to direct Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production Gabbar Is Back which was based on Tagore. Tagore is a Telugu film which was very successful as the film had a brilliant story. He next directed Kanche, which starred Varun Tej. The movie opened up to positive critical reviews on the 22nd of October. It grossed close to 50 crores and became one of the highest grosser of 2015.

Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi (also known as Krish) is a Telugu film director who has now balanced both Tollywood and Bollywood in his career graph. Just a few movies old, this director made his name in the list of young talented directors.

By his first two films, he fetched himself wide acclaims of both critics and the audience. Above all, his films have fetched him recognition on the national level. His film ‘Kanche’ (2015) fetched the best movie in the Telugu language on the national level. The film was the winner of the national award in at the 63rd National Award ceremony.

After a hat-trick performance in Tollywood, the director made a tie-up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house and directed, ‘Gabbar Is Back’, which was also co-produced by Viacom Pictures.

The film had Shruti Haasan, Kareena Kapoor Khan (cameo), and Akshay Kumar in the lead cast. In the same year (2016), another Telugu movie ’Kanche’ released in theaters and it received a critical response. Currently, the director is busy with his next project, “ Gautamiputra Satakarni”, which is considered to be the actor, Nandamuri Balakrishna's, 100th movie, and the film is likely to release in January 2017.

R. K. Jagarlamudi, also known as Krish, was born on the 10th of November 1978in Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a film director by profession and mainly directs Telugu movies, but he has directed some Bollywood movies as well.

In the year 2015, he won the Filmfare National Award for the Best Feature Film in the Telugu language for the war drama Kanche. It was set up in Nazi Germany and the direction was outstanding. In the second edition of the famous Indywood Carnival in the year 2016 held at Hyderabad, Kanche was one of the nominations in the Indywood Panorama Competition division.

Krish made his debut in Telugu Film Industry with the film Gamyam in the year 2008. The film starred some very famous actors like A. Naresh, K. Mukherjee, and Shamaprasad. The producer of the film was none other than his father: Jagarlamudi Saibaba.

Even his brother-in-law and his near friend Reddy turned up as producers only to help their friend succeed since many famous and well-known producers of the industry had rejected his offers. Ravikanth Perepu is a South Indian director who works in the Telugu film industry. He was born on 11th March 1991 in Vizag, also known as Vishakapatnam, in Andhra Pradesh. He is known for the Tollywood flick Kshanam. Ravikanth is the son of Nageswara Rao Perupu. He attended school at the Kotak Salesian School in Vizag from where he graduated in 2006. He graduated from the Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering where he studied chemical engineering. His passion for filmmaking ignited at an early age when he saw the Telugu version of the musical romantic drama Alaipauthey directed by Mani Rathnam, at the age of nine. He wrote a few short stories. During his intermediate, he had decided to become a filmmaker. Four of his friends shared his interest in cinema, two of whom would eventually work under him for Kshanam. However, before Ravikanth could join the Tollywood industry, he had to appease his parents. His parents wished for him to study engineering before pursuing a career in film production. So Ravikanth studied chemical engineering at the Gayatri Vidya Parishad College. While studying at college, he and his friends would create videos and upload them to Youtube; this kept Ravikanth’s filmmaking skills sharp. Soon after graduating, Ravikanth shifted to Hyderabad and got in touch with the director Adivi Sesh. He worked in the post production process of the romantic comedy flick KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid directed by Adivi. He was credited as an associate director in the Telugu feature film. The movie hit the silver screens on 12th September 2013. Then Ravikanth took a hiatus from filmmaking while staying in touch with Adivi. A few years later, Adivi met Ravikanth to discuss a story idea. According to some accounts the scripting process took two months, while some claim it took ten months. After preparing the screenplay, Adivi and Ravikanth approached the film producer Prasad V. Potluri. The production process started soon after they signed the agreements. He would also recruit the cinematographer Shaneil Deo and composer Sricharan Pakala with whom he worked in KISS. He released the film under the title Kshanam on 26th February 2016. The mystery flick gained good reviews from all over the world. Ravikanth created the thriller movie with a budget of about one crore rupee but made about five crores within ten days of release. Ravikanth’s latest project is a romance flick for which Bahubali fame Daggubati Rana is a co-producer. Ravikanth is open to working for any genre except horror.
