Plot
Maha Kumbh Mela is chosen by the Tibetan army to target India. It stirs the peace and creates a ruckus in the nation, making the PM to instruct the authorities develop an antidote, at once. As the scientist Janani creates it, she is targeted by the enemies. As promised, Akhanda appears as Janani is in danger. He protects Janani and stops the biowar by the Tibetans.
Star Performance
As usual, Balakrishna dominates the film with his screen presence. His dialogue delivery is good, and it is sure to create goosebumps for his ardent fans. Harshaali is good in her role. Samyuktha is okay in her limited screen presence. Aadhi satisfies us with his role, despite a minimum screen time.
Analysis
The story is simple, and the director focused only on Balakrishna. He is shown as a larger-than-life figure. The writing could’ve been stronger. Many characters are penned, but not all are effective. Samyuktha’s character lacks logic in a few places. The dubbing for Harshaali should’ve been cared for. The action sequences are well-designed. The BGM by Thaman is one of the strongest pillars of the film. The cinematography and editing are quite decent.

Despite the predictable story, Akhanda 2 is watchable for Balakrishna and Thaman.
