MORE CAST & CREW

Sixer” is scripted and directed by “ Chachi.” The film has the star cast has Vaibhav Reddy, Palak Lalwani, “ Sriranjani,” “ Sathish,” Radha Ravi, RNR Manohar, “ Chaams,” “ Ilavarasu” and KPY “ Ramar.” Mohamaad Ghibran is the music composer. Plot

Aadhi suffers from night blindness. As his eye-sight is poor after 6 pm, he returns home, before that. One day, when Aadhi was unable to return home on time, he calls his friend to pick him at a place where he got stuck. It was a place where a protest has been going on. As Aadhi was in that place, a politician mistook that Aadhi is the protest leader and started following him. It was due to the news coverage by Krithika. After knowing this, Aadhi went on to fight with Krithika. Later, they fall for each other and Aadhi gets into another trouble. What happened between them? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Vaibhav fits in the role, well. He is the same guy whom we saw in Venkat Prabhu movies. His body language and expressions are good. Sathish has played a good supporting role. Palak Lalwani should improvise her lip-synching. The rest of the stars did what they are asked.

Analysis

The character Aadhi played by Vaibhav is based on the role played by “ Goundamani” in Chinnathamabi, a hit “ Prabhu” and Khushbu Sundar movie. The script and screenplay in Sixer are okayish. The star selection is good. Some comedy sequences are good and some are boring. The villain’s role is not much stronger as it loses its importance in the climax. There are a lot of logical loopholes, but a comedy film need not logic, isn’t it! If some silly comedy scenes had been properly shot, it would have had a better impact. The BGM and the cinematography are okayish.

What’s There?

  • The performance of Vaibhav is good
  • The film has good technical and production values

What’s Not There?

  • Silly comedy scenes irk the audience
  • Characters are not strong

Verdict

If some mistakes had been eliminated, the film would have been a good comedy entertainer. However, it is a one-time watch, even now!
