Perusu To Stream On This OTT Platform

After tanking miserably at the box office, Perusu has secured an OTT platform.

Produced jointly by Stone Bench Films and Baweja Studios, Perusu will be streaming on the OTT giant Netflix from April 11 onwards.

The movie is the debut venture of Harman Baweja’s Baweja Studios in Tamil cinema. The movie Perusu revolves around a hilarious situation, where a family has to hide the dirty secrets of their patriarch, who has recently breathed his last. Despite the unique concept, and the critical appreciation for the performances, the movie didn’t perform well commercially at the box office.

With this, the first quarter of 2025 has ended on an okayish note for Tamil cinema, though it is still better than the forgettable 2024, when only two movies succeeded throughout the first four months of 2024.
