Plot

Raja Senthoor Pandian is a cop. He is an alcoholic who also suffers from Kleine Levin syndrome. That is, he would be sleeping for hours and even weeks. This is one of the reasons why his wife divorced him and living in a separate house with their daughter Kritika. Kritika was about to go overseas for higher studies. So, she wants to stay with her father for ten days before her trip. Raja was elated as he could spend his days with his daughter. There comes a big twist. Four youngsters who were put in prison by Raja, a couple of years back, got released and now, to take revenge on him, they kidnap Raja’s daughter. How will Raja save his daughter from the criminals? The answer forms the rest of the plot.

Star Performance

Cheran played his part neatly. Similarly, Irfan fits perfectly as a cruel villain. The rest of the cast did their job well.

Analysis

The narration started well, but the director didn't continue it. The movie doesn't have any new genre except the sleeping Beauty syndrome. The syndrome had been used well in the second half of the film. The daughter and father relationship and the husband and wife relationship should have been shown a little deeper. The narration is ok, but the screenplay is clumsy. The dialogues are not natural. The movie has some traces of the Pollachi issue. The music and cinematography are ok.

What's There?

  • Performances of the stars are good
  • Certain scenes in the second half are neatly pictured

What's Not There?

  • The screenplay is not impressive
  • Narration is not up to the mark
  • The family bonding is not shown in depth

Verdict

Although the movie has some positive points, some scenes are not strong and hence it loses its value. Yet it is a one-time watch for its content!
