The police in the City are confused with a series of women abduction and beheading them. The visually challenged Gautam is in love with Dahini. As soon as they exchanged their feelings, she was kidnapped by the psychotic serial killer. Although Gautam complained to the police, they didn't care much and hence, Gautam approaches Kamala, a senior officer who is now jobless due to some health issues. How both of them manage to bring back Dahini from the serial killer forms the rest of the plot.
This is the best performance of Udhayanidhi, so far. Mysskin had brought out the best from him. Singampuli impresses with his comedy and emotional performances. Ram has done his best with the limited screen presence. Aditi Rao Hydari is impressive with varied emotions. Similarly, Nithya Menen has done a great job. Nithya’s role is impressive and she backs up the lead stars. The psycho character played by the debutante actor Raj is remarkable.
Mysskin had always preferred to do unique scripts and this is one of such unique performances and each and every character in the movie reflects Mysskin. The music composition by Ilaiyaraaja is astounding. Whether it is the BGM or the songs, Raja rules the movie with this magical music. Mysskin had designed all the characters well except Ram’s. Ram should have been given a strong role, yet he had been used to boost up the leading lady in a crucial scene. The cinematography by the debutante cinematographer Tanveer Mir is appreciable. Besides bringing a psycho movie, Mysskin tries to bring out the fact which makes the people psychotic.
What's Not There?
The movie is full of bloodsheds and psychotic theme. It is not advisable to take children to the film and also if you are a weak hearted person better avoid this. But it is a good movie with excellent screenplay and performances with outstanding music.
