Plot
Akasha Veeran and Arasi are engaged. Akash runs a Parotta shop with his family. They start loving each other. However, before their marriage, Arasi’s family learns that Akash, his father, and brother are rowdies. So, they decided to stop the marriage. But Arasi marries him, despite her family’s opposition. Soon, her father-in-law gives her the responsibility of handling the cash, which doesn’t go well with her mother-in-law, who had been handling the cash. As Akash renames the eatery after his wife, his sister is angry with him, as it was running with her name. Meanwhile, the couple get into petty fights and cools down the next day. Soon, Arasi becomes pregnant and delivers a girl child. A huge fight bursts out as Arasi hears that Akash’s mother is ready to get him married to another girl. After they split, Arasi and her family hosted a mundan ceremony for her daughter. Akash arrives there and starts fighting for hosting a ceremony for his daughter without consulting him. What happened next? Did they unite?
Star Performance
Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen are strong performers. They had always performed naturally. Their chemistry is astonishing. Nithya’s body language and dialogue delivery are impressive. Saravanan didn’t have much to do, but he delivered what was needed. Deepa excels in her role, as usual. This time, she plays the mother-in-law and showcases a slight negativity. Nandhini, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Roshini have done their parts well. Yogi Babu appears in a few scenes.
Analysis
The story is simple, and the trailer had already revealed it. But the performances and the dialogue made it worthwhile. Pandiraj’s way of handling the family subject had always been impressive, and he proved it again with Vijay and Nithya. The essentials of a family, and divorce is not the solution are beautifully portrayed on screen. If none interfere between the husband and wife during their fight, their relationship will not break, and it will be automatically solved, is the main theme. It worked out pretty well. The stars are perfectly picked and placed in the right roles. The BGM is okay, but it didn’t suit some sequences. The visuals are decent.

It is a family entertainer with excellent performances from Nithya and Vijay Sethupathi! If we sideline the flaws, it is a good one-time watch!
