S A Chandrasekhar is leading a happy-go-lucky life after retiring from Army. Once he saves students from hijackers. A girl student captures this heroic action and uploads on social networking sites. S A Chandrasekhar becomes popular after this instance.
Pa. Vijay and Chandini, who are romantically involved, get acquainted with S A Chandrasekhar after this incident. SAC gets these lovebirds married. In the meantime, the main person behind the kidnapping, Rajendran, is bent on taking revenge on S A Chandrasekhar, along with M.S.Bhaskar, an evil cop. How S A Chandrasekhar, along with Pa Vijay, braves the odds, forms the rest of the story.
Being a septuagenarian S A Chandrasekhar has proved that one can do heroics with ease even at this age. He stuns us in the action sequences. And not to miss his punch dialogues! He gives a seasoned performance, especially in the sentimental scenes. He proves that a director can be a good actor too. Pa Vijay gives a spontaneous performance while Chandini does what is required of her. M.S.Bhaskar and Naren also shine in their performances. Rajendran, who is the antagonist, frightens us with his menacing look.
We are used to the angry young man in the Indian films. But for a change, here is an angry old man! S A Chandrasekhar essays his power role effortlessly while director Vijay Kiran has tapped the acting talent of the former in a commendable manner.
