Plot
The family’s matriarch dies unexpectedly. But, his sons are unable to do his funeral publicly due to some unusual happening to their father. What did they do to cover his body and complete the funeral forms the rest of the plot.
Star Performance
Sunil excelled in his role. After impressing the audience with a couple of performances in minor roles, including “Doctor” and “Jailer,” Sunil has got a full-fledged role, which seems to have fed his acting hunger. His acting is so mature. Vaibhav is okay with his role. His comedy works out in the second half. Munishkanth Ramdoss is impressive in his role as Sunil and Vaibhav’s uncle. His body language and comedy are impressive. In fact, he leads the film most of the time. Nakkalites Dhanam’s performance is noteworthy. She excels in the given role with her reactions. Swaminathan,

Analysis
Ilango Ram remade his Sinhala movie in Tamil as Perusu. The screenplay is gripping, with engaging moments. Fine actors are picked and placed in the right roles. Niharika, the leading social media influencer who has been used to promote Bollywood, Sandalwood, and Tollywood movies, makes her acting debut with this film. She is given a decent role, yet not a strong one. Vaibhav’s role should’ve been developed better. As he is seen in a hangover mode, most of the times we may not be able to connect him to the story fully in the first half. However, his presence is felt in the second half. Dhanam’s character is perfectly woven with comedy and emotional portions blended perfectly. She is the perfect choice for this role. The director has brought serious content on a lighter note, and it worked out well. The director should be appreciated for providing all the characters with a good intro and a back story. The visuals are decent, and the BGM in the comedy scenes worked out well.
