Star Performance

Jiiva fits well in the role. His body language is fantastic. Natasha did a great job. The rest of the stars had done, what is expected from them.

Analysis

The story deals with the interreligious marriages and the survival of the couple, who married crossing their religious boundaries. The theme is okay, but the screenplay didn’t impress. Whenever the audience fell that the movie makes them a bit bored, it is Jiiva who makes the audience sit straight with his natural performance. Certain scenes seem to be repeated. The highly expected reactions didn’t satisfy the audience and it turned tasteless. The production and technical values are okayish.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the stars are good
  • The production values are neat

What’s Not There?

  • The screenplay should have been better

Verdict

With a script that has ethical complexities, Raju Murugan has given out a good film. If the screenplay had been penned with more engaging elements, then it would have been better. However, the performances and the narration make the audience watch the film without any regrets!
