Plot

The story revolves around a rural area with growing concerns about women's disappearances and sexual offenses. Working for the government in Palani, Eswaran develops a deep bond with his eight-year-old niece, Sundari, and is always vigilant in shielding her. Eeswaran has a close friend, who secretly works as a close police officer named Vadivelu. Ponni and Sundari are also good friends. The duo of girls embarks on an experimental tour. Due to fear, Sundari leaves the tour halfway and returns home, leaving Ponni alone, who, in turn, is faced with horror. The family points fingers at Eeswaran, as he was the last person seen with the girl. Despite his initial suspicions, Vadivelu realises Eeswaran’s innocence and apologizes to him. Due to ongoing confusion and fear, his sister-in-law teaches Sundari not to bond with her uncle. Hearing this, Eeswaran walks away from his residence, filled with anger and tears. Sundari tries to run behind him, but gets kidnapped by a notorious pedophile. What happens to Sundari is the rest of the story.

Star Performance

The lead actors were incredible in their respective roles. The music, cinematography, and editing of the movie were good. The storyline and the direction of the film were commendable.

Analysis

The performances of the lead and the supporting cast were top-notch. The editing and the background score of the film were incredible. The songs in the movie were amazingly tailored. The main song of the film “Unakku Thaan” brings in a lot of unspoken emotions and love. The cinematography of the film was impressive. The movie's storyline and plot were excellent.

● The characters could have been made more multi dimensional.

Chithha has lively performances from the lead and supporting actors, along with amazing cinematography, background score, and editing with an extraordinary storyline and direction. This movie surely deserves awards for being educational and visually stunning.
