MORE CAST & CREW

Achamindri is the film directed by Rajapandi of Ennamo Nadakkudhu fame. The film features Vijay Vasanth, Srushti Dange, Radha Ravi, " Samuthirakani," " Karunas," Vidya Pradeep, Bharath Reddy, Thalaivasal Vijay and Saranya Ponvannan. Premgi Amaren composes the music.

Plot

The film has three different plots and they are interlaced with each other. It starts with the death of the honest education department officer, Thalaivasal Vijay. After his death, Vijay Vasanth’s part is shown. Vijay plays a pickpocket, who romances Srushti Dange, a straightforward middle-class girl. Samuthirakani is an honest cop, who is getting ready to marry his childhood friend. Meanwhile, Srushti, who applies for the re-evaluation of her maid’s daughter, is threatened by the PA of education minister. Samuthirakani’s fiancé Vidya is mysteriously killed. When Samuthirakani digs it, he is stabbed by his friend Bharat Reddy. Saranya Ponvannan is the head of an educational institution. What is her role in this? Did Samuthirakani succeed in finding out the mystery behind the death of Vidya? What happened to Srushti? What is the role of Vijay Vasanth in this film? The rest of the story reveals the answers to these questions.

Star Performances

Saranya Ponvannan has taken a different route in this film. She has performed neatly, as usual. Radha Ravi plays a minister and we could never find a mistake in his performances. Similarly, the leads Vijay Vasanth, Samuthirakani and Srushti had done their part pretty well.

Analysis

Rajapandi has taken a new genre unlike his previous flick, Ennamo Nadakudhu. His narration is perfect and he has screwed up the expectations of the audiences. Rajapandi has cleverly handled three different plots and connecting them without a jerk.
