Plot
Ramanathan worked in the military for 20 years, and is now retired. He gets a job as a security guard at a jewelry shop in Kottarakara. While guarding the shop, he feels like guarding the country at the border. When a theft happens one night, it makes people suspect his honesty. He wants to prove his innocence, and starts investigating by himself. He meets Venu, who is in financial trouble and suspects him to be the thief. The rest of the film speaks about the families of Ramanathan and Venu.
Star Performance
Indrans has delivered an extraordinary performance. He fits perfectly in the role and impresses everyone with his natural performance. Murali Gopy is fantastic in his role. His performance in the climax is praiseworthy. Leona Lishoy did justice to the given role, and Sreejith Ravi is okay with his performance.
Analysis
The script is neat and the screenplay could’ve been made at a brisk pace. The director’s effort in execution is neatly visible. The stars fit well in the role, except for one. It is none other than Remya Suresh. She was cast as Murali Gopy’s mother-in-law. If she had paired opposite to him, it may not have made any difference. At least, the makeup could’ve been better to show her as an elderly woman. The visuals are good, and the editing is above average.
